Hua
Nian, originally form China, holds a Master’s degree in Art
Education from Pittsburg State University, Kansas. Over the past
25 years, she has been teaching art lessons for children in spring
and fall seasons, and art camps in summers. Her skills-based and
creative teaching method has helped many children discover the fun
of drawing, building self-esteem through diligent practice, and
helping each individual discover their own talents.
As a signature artist of the International Society of Acrylic
Painters (ISAP) and the National Oil and Acrylic Painters’
Society (NOAPS). Her paintings appear in international and national
art exhibitions, winning awards at local, state, and national shows,
Her works have been featured in American Artist Magazine, the Chicago
Sun-Times, Dialogue: An Art Journal, and in numerous local and Chinese
newspaper and magazines, as well as cover art for books, music CDs,
and posters produced by Stanford University, University of Illinois and others.
